Installing Pex Water Main Line...Part 1
What happens here
Cut the Apollo Type A PEX pipe to the appropriate length at the house connection point using PEX cutters, ensuring a straight cut. Slide a 3/4 inch Apollo PEX expansion sleeve onto the cut end of the PEX pipe. Then, use the Milwaukee PEX expansion tool to expand the PEX pipe about 9-10 times. While the PEX is still expanded, quickly push it firmly onto the 3/4 inch PEX adapter of the newly installed shut-off valve. Hold it in place for a few seconds as the PEX shrinks back, creating a secure and watertight connection.
Goal: Securely connect the temporary PEX line to the new house shut-off valve
