I Built An Expensive Home Depot Vanity For $300

What happens here

Cut primed 1x2 poplar or pine boards to size for the face frame components (vertical stiles and horizontal rails). Lay them out on the vanity to check the fit. Use wood glue and a pin nailer to temporarily hold the face frame pieces in place, then secure them with pocket hole screws from the inside of the cabinet. This creates a finished look and provides mounting points for doors and drawer fronts. Address any small imperfections (like blow-outs from screws) with wood filler and sanding before painting.

Goal: Construct and attach the face frame to the front of the vanity carcass using primed pine boards, ensuring a clean and visually appealing finish.
