How To Stop Paint Overspray.

What happens here

Before beginning to spray, it's crucial to wear appropriate safety gear. The presenter demonstrates wearing gloves to protect hands from paint and improve grip on the spray gun, which also helps prevent hand fatigue. Although not worn during his explanation, he advises wearing a 3M 7502 respirator to protect against inhaling paint particles, especially since he typically uses one during actual spraying.

Goal: Protect yourself from paint exposure and improve comfort during spraying.

using. Couple things to note before I start spraying right here. Um, I'm not wearing a respirator cuz obviously I can't talk and describe um and explain to you how I'm going about this process of controlling overspray. But you want to wear a respirator. I use a 3M respirator. The exact one is right here. Show you a picture of that. That's actually available in my tool store also. But I also like wearing gloves. You're seeing these gloves I'm wearing. It's just makes the the gun a lot more comfortable and it doesn't fatigue my hands spraying, you know, all day long wearing a pair of gloves. My hands don't get dirty. And then the guns um when it's really hot outside, if it's 100° outside and the gun is sitting in the sun, you go to pick it up, the gun's extremely hot. and uh just burns your hands. So, I like wearing gloves. And so, now I'm going to get started with showing you how I'm using my craft cardboard shield holder and controlling overspray.
