Shielding Corners with a Cardboard Shield

overspray. So, one of the things I'm using to help control the overspray is a gun extension right here. And then also a Rack X tip. And the Rack X tips item or atomize the paint a lot better and which helps the droplets be smaller. And then it helps um atomize and get on your surface a lot better than cheaper tips. So I'm using Graco Rackex tips. Got my cardboard shield holder right here with my cardboard shields. And one of the areas where you're going to get a lot of overspray if you don't use some type of shield or method to control it is when you're working on corners. And when I'm coming this way, if it's a windy, especially if it's a windy day, you're going to get overspray shooting out here that can get on plants and stuff. I just use my cardboard shield. I'm going to show you how I go about using it. [Music] So, that helps keep overspray from whipping around the corner. Now, I can spray the corner itself, too. Just like that. Another thing is your footings down here. Just using my cardboard shield, you control the overspray so I don't get anything on the concrete or the footings. So, you can see how I just used that cardboard shield to shield the footings right there. You can also just lay cardboard shields all along down there to just give you some added protection. Then use your shield holder. And I like the craft shield holder uh the best over any other shield cuz it actually just moves without having to use any tools or actually having to tighten or loosen a wing nut. So you can just adjust it just however you need it to the angle you need it and um when you're actually spraying. So now I'm going to show you how I go about controlling the overspray that would actually go up in the air when I'm spraying gutters or sophets or fascia.
