How to install a faucet and reinstall garbage disposal for countertop replacement

What happens here

Working from underneath the sink, install the faucet's mounting bracket and tightening nut onto the threaded shaft extending from the faucet base. Use the specialized wrench provided with the faucet (or a basin wrench) to firmly tighten the nut, securing the faucet to the countertop. Ensure the faucet remains straight during tightening. Next, connect the pre-attached hot and cold supply lines from the faucet to the corresponding hot and cold angle stop valves on the wall. The presenter initially connects them incorrectly (hot to cold, cold to hot) but later corrects this mistake. Ensure each connection is hand-tightened first, then given a final snug tightening with a small adjustable wrench. Emphasize not to overtighten, as this can damage the connections. The presenter points out that Delta faucets often have color-coded connectors (red for hot, blue for cold) for easy identification.

Goal: Working under the sink, the faucet is securely fastened to the countertop and the hot and cold water supply lines are connected to the angle stops.

to rip that piece off the other pieces come off with it this piece just kind of goes right there all right so with this foam seal with the seal that is there we're actually going to take some silicone because that's what it calls for and we're going to put some silicone on it and then we're going to put it down in place whenever you end up doing a silicone seal like this you're going to want to just wipe it off quickly use some mineral spirits something just to make sure that it doesn't leave a bunch of residue around the hole leave the plastic on the pull down and just let that so you don't scratch it or anything flip this around hold it upside down like so and then just take some silicone and just gently go around the whole thing and so we've got that all hooked up it's all around there and then just flip it over put it right down the hole and then make sure the handle is pretty much somewhat just on the right side because that's where it's going to be at now we go back down below okay so we got that down the hole we've got this piece that actually is going to set up on the stone and then we have this nut right here that is going to hold the faucet in place and we have this wrench that comes with it to put it in place [Music] once again getting on our backs i feel like the camera's set up at a pretty good place for us just make sure there's two sides to this there's the boat outside and the indented side you want to make sure the indented side goes towards put this as far as we can go and then we'll just start tightening [Music] four hours later i'm still turning okay so there is a little bit of epoxy that's kind of hindering the way this is sitting down so we're going to go ahead and we're going to take some of that off real quick this is plumbing folks things like this happen all the time don't get discouraged there's always a solution for something you just gotta find it we've done that we'll just take the provided tool and we'll tighten it back up we'll get it pretty tight go back up top make sure that it's straight and then we'll tighten it up the rest of the way that's a good seal up top that ain't going anywhere and now we get ready for the next little part of the project yeah so before we hook up the water lines we're actually going to cut the drain out um just get it out of our way it'll be quick and easy so pull out the old ginsu um i don't actually really remember the name the plum best some kind of thing but it's a ginsu man it cuts…
