How to install a faucet and reinstall garbage disposal for countertop replacement

What happens here

Locate the old double-basin stainless steel sink, which is currently in the garage. Identify the garbage disposal flange mounted in one of the sink's drain openings. Use a large flathead screwdriver to unscrew the three mounting bolts on the underside of the disposal flange assembly. Once the bolts are loosened, carefully remove the metal mounting ring and the rubber gasket. Next, locate the thin metal retaining clip inside the flange. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry out one end of the retaining clip, then gently pull the entire clip free. This will allow the main flange piece to be pushed up and out of the sink. Carefully lift the disposal flange out of the old sink. The old plumber's putty and sealant will likely be messy; explain that this is normal and should be cleaned off.

Goal: This step demonstrates how to carefully remove the existing garbage disposal flange from the old sink, which will be reused in the new sink.
