HOW TO INSTALL A FARM GATE

What happens here

Using a cordless impact driver fitted with a 3/4 inch paddle bit, drill the holes at the marked locations on the wooden fence post. Ensure the paddle bit is the same diameter as the hanger bolts for a snug fit. If the post is thick and your drill bit isn't long enough, use an extension bit with the impact driver to reach through. Drill straight through the center of the post, maintaining a level angle to ensure the gate hangs correctly.

Goal: Create appropriately sized and positioned holes for the gate hanger bolts.
