Remove Masking

What happens here

Once the primer application is complete, carefully remove the masking paper and blue painter's tape (FrogTape) from the garage door opening or other masked areas. Pull the tape up slowly and at an angle to ensure a clean, sharp line without pulling up any of the freshly applied primer. The snapped chalk line used for initial marking should ensure that the garage door's weather strip will not touch the primed surface.

Goal: Reveal the finished, clean edge of the primed floor.
