Cut In Edges and Stem Walls

What happens here

Before rolling the main floor, use a 4-inch throw-away chip brush to carefully apply the epoxy primer along the perimeter of the garage floor and up the stem walls. Extend the brushed area sufficiently from the wall (e.g., about 4-6 inches) to prevent the roller from accidentally touching the walls during the main application. If you plan to paint the garage walls later, you don't need to be overly concerned about slight imperfections on the walls; however, if not painting, ensure a clean line. Also, use the brush to fill any small divots or pinholes in the concrete identified by the primer.

Goal: Apply primer to the perimeter and edges of the garage floor for a clean finish.
