HOW DOES A SHOWER HANDLE LOOK THIS BAD?? (And How I Fixed It Fast)
What happens here
Many shower handles are secured by a small set screw. To access it, you may need to rotate the handle to a specific position or look underneath. In this video, the set screw is located on the underside of the handle. Select the correct size Allen wrench (a 3/32 inch is used here, though sizes can vary by manufacturer). Insert the Allen wrench into the set screw and turn it counter-clockwise to loosen the screw. You don't necessarily need to remove the screw entirely, just loosen it enough for the handle to slide off.
Goal: Identify the hidden set screw on the shower handle, typically located underneath the handle itself, and use an appropriately sized Allen wrench to loosen it.
