What happens here

This DIY project guides you through repairing a damaged garden hose end by replacing the original thin brass fitting with a more robust, heavy-duty brass hose repair kit. The process involves removing the damaged section, installing a new male adapter with a hose barb and securing it with a hose clamp, ensuring a durable and leak-free connection for future use.

Somebody ran it over. I don't know who I don't know how But it's very been out of shape. This material right here. It's just very thin brass It's malleable. It kind of bends really easy. We're gonna put something a little more heavy duty in there So I just ran up to the hardware store and I bought this hose repair We don't really want to take any length away from it. So we just give that a chop This is a male adapter by hose barb fitting male and this is female We're gonna take this hose clamp and we're going to slide this over the pipe and we're gonna take the barb side of this fitting And we're just gonna put it right down here inside of this hose I like it about a quarter inch away from the top of that So then we'll just go ahead and start tightening this up. It's good to go. Wala now you're able to add your fittings with ease and This piece right here is a much heavier brass. You're not gonna have any issue with that
