Connect Subsequent Pipe Sections

Grid Goes down...what will you do for water? Installing a modern hand pump!
What happens here
With the first pipe section safely in place, remove the protective cap from the next PVC pipe section. Then, remove the protective end from the pump rod. Carefully align the pump rod coming out of the well with the rod from the new pipe section, ensuring the threads engage properly. Screw the pump rod sections together, hand-tightening first, then securing with two 1/2-inch wrenches, giving it a quarter-turn past hand-tight. Repeat this process for all subsequent pipe sections until the desired depth is reached. After connecting each pipe section, thread the main PVC pipe onto the top of the previous one, hand-tightening initially. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks and pump failure.
Goal: Extend the pump's length by adding more pipe sections.
