Fitness Friday: Workouts for Painters. Fitness From Home!

What happens here

The speaker introduces the Devil's Press, a dynamic exercise performed with two dumbbells. He positions 50-pound dumbbells on the floor about shoulder-width apart. The movement begins by getting into a push-up position with hands on the dumbbells, performing a push-up, then jumping feet forward, and using a swinging motion (like a kettlebell swing) to lift both dumbbells overhead in one fluid movement. He demonstrates several repetitions, explaining the full-body engagement from legs and core to shoulders and chest.

Goal: Execute dumbbell Devil's presses for a full-body workout.

right now so here's the devil's press the devil's press is going to be using dumbbells and you're going to start with the dumbbells on the floor and this movement like a thruster is going to be a old whole body workout it's going to be getting down and doing a push-up on the dumbbells getting up and then pressing those dumbbells overhead and the first time ever seen this movement i was like oh my gosh uh i'm using 50 pound dumbbells uh you're probably not going to start with that kind of weight i started off originally um and crossfit way lighter than that but now i use 50 pound dumbbells so here we go the thrusters are down on the ground i like them about um you're starting off the width of what i would do a push-up ons i'm gonna squat down do a push-up on the dumbbells then i'm gonna come back up take the dumbbells swing them overhead and press and right back down and the whole swinging movement i like to get them get between my legs because you're using momentum to swing and press overhead when i set them back down i like to set them right back down in the width doing a push-up and then you go right back into on your devil's press so it's a consecutive movement i'm going to start off push and there is three devil's presses
