Extracting the spring honey harvest....Fun and Educational! How small farms harvest honey!
What happens here
Once the honey has been extracted from both sides of all the frames, position your filter bucket directly underneath the honey gate (spigot) of the manual honey extractor. Open the honey gate to allow the raw, extracted honey to flow out. The honey will pass through the 400 micron mesh filter in the bucket, which will effectively strain out any remaining wax cappings, small bee parts, or other impurities. This filtering process ensures that the collected honey is clean, pure, and ready for bottling or immediate consumption.
Goal: Obtain clean, filtered honey.
