Entryway Console Table

What happens here

Mark the locations for the domino mortises on all connecting edges of the console table parts. Use the Festool Domino joiner to precisely cut rectangular mortises into the wood pieces. This type of joinery, described as a hybrid between dowels and traditional mortise and tenon joints, provides excellent alignment and strength for the table's structure. Ensure proper alignment of the mortises on mating pieces.

Goal: Utilize a Festool Domino joiner to create mortise and tenon style joints for strong and accurate assembly of the console table's framework.

result. The entire project was assembled using Festool dominoes . This is essentially a hybrid between a dowel joint and a tongue-and -groove joint. This allows you to significantly speed up the process thanks to this tool. Each joint has a tongue and groove. If you line everything up correctly , you shouldn't have any trouble putting it all together like a puzzle. My friend Jen Woodhouse runs a great woodworking blog called House of Wood.
