Apply a second coat of the skim coat compound using the same rolling and skimming techniques as the first coat. This time, aim for a slightly thinner and more even application, focusing on filling any remaining subtle imperfections. Use a ladder to comfortably reach higher areas. Carefully roll and then smooth each section with the skimming blade, ensuring a seamless, uniform finish across the entire wall. This second coat is critical for achieving a Level 5 smooth wall finish.

Goal: Apply a second, thinner, and more refined layer of skim coat compound over the sanded first coat to achieve a flawlessly smooth finish.
