Drying up a SWAMP yard- start to finish
What happens here
Behind the newly constructed boulder retaining wall, a heavy-duty, interwoven boulder fabric is laid. This fabric is specifically designed to stretch and flex without ripping, providing essential reinforcement. Following the fabric installation, finely broken-down soil is backfilled into the area behind the wall. The soil must be broken down to its finest possible particulate matter to ensure proper compaction and prevent air pockets, which could lead to future settlement and instability.
Goal: Reinforce the retaining wall and ensure stable backfill.
