Drying up a SWAMP yard- start to finish
What happens here
The project begins with initial grading of the backyard using a skid steer loader. The existing soil is carefully removed and sorted into two separate piles by an excavator: organic topsoil for potential reuse and other soil to be hauled away. This initial grading establishes the foundational slope for improved drainage and prepares the area for subsequent construction phases, such as the retaining wall.
Goal: Prepare the backyard for construction by grading and sorting soil.
