Install Purlins

What happens here

With the main frame established, the purlins (smaller horizontal timbers) are installed. These fit into pre-cut pockets on the upper parts of the main beams, running perpendicular to the tie beams. The purlins provide support for the roof decking and define the slope of the roof. They are secured with additional wooden pegs, creating a robust and aesthetically pleasing roof structure. Each purlin is carefully placed and fastened by workers accessing the frame via ladders and lifts.

Goal: Construct the roof support system for the ceiling and roofing materials.
