Dream Barndominium Timber Frame Front Porch Build, start to finish! Awesome!

What happens here

After the main timber bents are erected and initially secured, horizontal tie beams are installed to connect them. These beams are positioned between the upright posts, further stabilizing the structure. Like the bents, these connections are made using mortise and tenon joints and are fastened with oak wooden pegs. Additional temporary wooden braces are used to hold the structure plumb and square while these connections are made and finalized. Once installed, the structure should be rigid and stable.

Goal: Connect the erected bents with horizontal beams for structural integrity.
