What happens here
To change the blade, first lower the blade tension to zero using the tensioning handle. Next, remove the side covers from both sides of the blade housing. These covers are typically secured with pins that can be pulled out to release them. Once the covers are off, lower the protective flap on the saw head to expose the blade. Carefully disengage the dull blade from the pulleys and guides. Note the direction the blade teeth are pointing (downwards for cutting) to ensure the new blade is installed correctly. Always handle the blade with extreme caution, wearing cut-resistant gloves and eye protection, as it is very sharp. Fold the dull blade safely for transport to a sharpening service.
Goal: Safely remove the dull sawmill blade.
