DIY Twin Low Loft Bed

What happens here

To provide sturdy support for the mattress, a 4x8 foot sheet of pine plywood is cut into 3-inch wide strips using a table saw. This is a cost-effective method for creating the bed slats. Once all the strips are cut, they are placed inside the assembled bed frame, spanning the width between the side rails. The slats are evenly spaced (the video shows approximately 10-12 slats for a twin bed) and secured to the inner face of the side rails using 1 1/4-inch screws. This ensures the slats are firmly in place and can adequately support the mattress.

Goal: A 4x8 sheet of pine plywood is ripped into 3-inch wide strips, which are then evenly spaced and screwed into the side rails to create the mattress support slats.

as much strength as possible first lads we went with pine 4x8 sheet of plywood from a local Home Depot roughly between 37 and 38 bucks we ripped it on our table saw into three inch sections and then install them as evenly as possible we end up using about three-quarters of the four by eight sheet so it was actually a really good buy we then used a inch and a quarter screws to drill them right into the side rails and what's they're all secured well that is basically ready for the finish alright
