What happens here
Apply a wood finish (Maker brand oil finish is shown) to both the wooden handle and the sheath. Rub it in thoroughly and wipe off any excess. Once dry, drill a small hole through the top of the sheath. Thread a piece of string or cord through this hole to create a hanger. The completed knife can then be inserted into its custom sheath and displayed.
Goal: Apply a protective finish to the wood and prepare the sheath for display.
