Broken Tub/Shower Valve Repair
What happens here
Have a helper (or go yourself) turn the main water supply back on slowly. Briefly turn the shower handle to check for proper water flow and to ensure there are no leaks around the newly installed cartridge. This step helps confirm the repair is successful before completing the cosmetic reassembly. The video shows the demonstrator having a friend turn the water back on.
Goal: Before fully reassembling the faucet, turn the main water supply back on and briefly test the shower to ensure the new cartridge is functioning correctly and there are no leaks.
