Bringing this crusty 60 year old tractor back to life!

What happens here

The old bearing race is tightly pressed onto the axle shaft and needs to be removed. Since a standard press might not fit the entire axle, an alternative method is used. Use a die grinder to carefully cut two notches on opposite sides of the old bearing race. Then, use a hammer and a pry tool to tap the notched race off the axle shaft. This allows for removal without damaging the axle itself.

Goal: Detach the old bearing race from the axle shaft.
