What happens here
The planetary gear set needs to be disassembled to replace the broken gears. Use specialized snap ring pliers to remove the central snap rings. These pliers allow you to squeeze and open the snap rings easily. After removing the snap rings, the internal planetary gears can be accessed. Carefully remove the old, damaged gears and slide in the new replacement gears. Reinstall the snap rings to secure the new gears in place.
Goal: Replace the damaged gears within the planetary assembly.
