What happens here
Position the new wheel bearing squarely onto the axle shaft, ensuring the fat end of the bearing faces the gear. Use a 12-ton shop press to slowly and evenly press the new bearing into place until it is fully seated against the shoulder on the axle. Verify that the bearing is seated evenly all the way around.
Goal: Install the new wheel bearing onto the axle shaft.
