What happens here
After preparing the planetary gear set, the bearing cup for the axle housing needs to be installed. Gently tap the new bearing cup into the axle housing using a dead blow hammer until it is fully seated and flush. This provides a clean, smooth surface for the new axle bearing to ride on. Ensure it's not tilted and is seated evenly.
Goal: Seat the new bearing cup into the axle housing.
