Choose a Brooder Container

What happens here

Select a suitable container to serve as the brooder. A Tarter Farm and Ranch 100-gallon stock tank is recommended as it can comfortably house around 50 birds. For the current setup with 35 birds, it provides ample space, allowing for optimal growth and hygiene. For more than 50 birds, two 100-gallon tanks are suggested to prevent overcrowding, which can lead to high manure loads and increased difficulties in maintenance.
