What happens here
Before disconnecting any wires, take a clear picture of the capacitor with all its connected wires. This will serve as a reference for correct re-installation. The capacitor will typically have terminals labeled 'C' for Common, 'F' for Fan, and 'H' for Herm (Hermetic Compressor). Carefully remove the wires from their respective terminals using a flathead screwdriver or by hand if they slide off easily.
