Once the clamp is in position, bring the bolt assembly back into place and begin to hand-tighten the nut. After it's finger-tight, use an appropriately sized wrench to continue tightening the nut. As you tighten, the clamp will compress the rubber gasket against the pipe, sealing the leak. Continue tightening until the leak stops completely and the clamp feels snug and secure. In the video, an 11/16 inch wrench is used.
