the water line and we need to connect it to the water softener. So the water softener comes with this bypass and if it's not already installed on yours, please install it at this point. So there's a tail kit that comes with the water softener and what you'll need to do is you need to preassemble this. So if you're going to be going to pecs then you would do something like I have here where you'd go to copper first and then convert over to pecs. So you would, you would preassemble this but you wouldn't have the old ring or the plastic clip in here at this point. You'd solder all this together, then cool it down. Once it's cool, then you would add the old ring and add the plastic clip and make sure you've got this to connect it. So to connect it, now at this point you need to make sure what the line is in is and what the line out is. So with the bypass it automatically orientates itself correctly or on the housing here you can see the arrows in and out. So this is the line in.
