Step 6 · Install the New Shower Cartridge

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Install the new cartridge, ensuring proper alignment and seating. For a watertight seal, apply plumber's grease to the O-rings before insertion.
