Step 2 · Remove the Shower Handle

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Carefully remove the shower handle. This often involves unscrewing a setscrew hidden beneath a decorative cap. Use the correct screwdriver (often an Allen wrench) to loosen and remove the screw. Gently pull the handle away from the wall.
