Step 6 · Level the Picture

Place a level on the top edge of the picture frame. Adjust the frame by sliding it left or right until the bubble in the level is centered, indicating it is perfectly horizontal. Make minor adjustments as needed. Some frames may need to be lifted off the hook slightly to adjust.
