Step 4 · Install the Hanging Hardware

For a nail and hook: Hold the hook against the wall at your mark and gently tap the nail through the hook's opening with a hammer until it is secure. For a screw and anchor: Drill a pilot hole if required by the anchor type, insert the anchor, and then drive the screw into the anchor. Ensure the hardware is flush with the wall and does not wiggle.
