Step 3 · Install the P-Trap Cover

Take the custom-cut P-trap cover and wrap it snugly around the drain pipe assembly. Start at one end and work your way along the curve of the trap. The material is designed to be flexible. Overlap the edges and align the hook-and-loop fasteners (or other provided fastening system, like zip ties). Press firmly along the entire length of the seam to ensure a secure and continuous closure. Make sure there are no gaps and that the entire trap, including the curved sections and nuts, is fully insulated.
