Step 7 · Test Safety Sensors

Locate the safety sensors near the bottom of the garage door tracks. They are usually small boxes with an indicator light. Ensure they are clean, unobstructed, and aligned with each other. If the indicator lights are off or blinking erratically, they may be misaligned or damaged. Try to gently adjust their position until the lights are solid. Clean the sensor lenses with a soft cloth.
