Step 7 · Wire the Opener and Sensors

Run the low-voltage wires from the safety sensors to the motor unit, and from the wall control button to the motor unit. Follow the manufacturer's wiring diagrams precisely, connecting the wires to the designated terminals on the motor unit. Ensure wires are neatly secured along the wall and ceiling using insulated staples or clips, keeping them away from moving parts. Properly connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet.
