Step 8 · Wind the Torsion Spring

Using winding bars, carefully rotate the torsion spring to the number of turns specified by the manufacturer. This process requires significant force and must be done gradually and with extreme caution. Secure the spring by tightening the set screws on the winding cone. As the spring is wound, the cables will become taut.
