Attach the operator mounting bracket to the header above the garage door opening according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure it is securely fastened to the framing. Then, mount the garage door opener motor unit to the bracket, ensuring it is properly aligned with the torsion spring shaft or center support if applicable.
