Step 6 · Monitor Charging Progress

Observe the charger's indicators to monitor the charging progress. Most chargers will show when the battery is fully charged or if there's an error. While charging, check the battery for excessive heat or swelling, which could indicate a problem. If you notice any issues, disconnect the charger immediately.
