You Won't believe how pretty this Live Edge table turned out...fresh off the mill!

What happens here

Begin the sanding process by using an El Cheapo belt sander with an 80-grit sanding belt. Systematically sand the main flat surfaces of the live edge ash lumber slab to remove any saw marks, rough spots, and initial imperfections. The goal is to achieve a generally smooth and even surface, preparing the wood for finer sanding. This process is time-consuming, as noted by the creator who spent six hours on sanding alone.

Goal: Remove saw marks and major imperfections from the wood slab's surface.
