You Won't believe how pretty this Live Edge table turned out...fresh off the mill!
What happens here
Place the newly sanded wood slab upside down on a stable surface. Position the metal coffee table frame on top of the inverted wood slab. Initially, the plan was to recess the frame into the wood, but upon inspection, the frame fits snugly on the surface without needing a recess. Instead, simply align the frame, then use a cordless drill with a screwdriver bit to screw the frame's mounting brackets directly into the underside of the wood slab. Apply a small amount of touch-up paint to the screw heads to match the frame's color.
Goal: Securely attach the new wood top to the existing metal frame.
