You CAN Find a Girl That Does Car Stuff With You: Here's How I Did (Where NOT To Look) Project Car 3

pretty much that's the whole point of this whole project car thing is to draw parallels between working on a car and car world that car guys understand and how those lessons and principles apply to real life too because it's all the same there's a reason for certain sacrifices and if someone doesn't understand that screw him how do you feel about the topic of daddy issues i wasn't a cool kid i was like freaking lanky pale hockey player kid didn't talk to anybody what would you tell them not to do well on today's episode of project car this is episode three we are gonna have story time slash life advice slash everything i don't know exactly what we're going to talk about but the whole premise of this project car show is that you can put your phone down and do something else and just listen to it this is audio based so you don't have to see the video go do something productive while you listen to this that's the whole point here but what we're going to be talking about is i guess how did i find you where did you come from why do you deal with all of my car nonsense and how the heck do you like participating in it i think a lot of people wonder that because it's not very common yeah yeah let's we'll start with this did you come from a car background no no she did not not at all ever uh did you ever work on a car before you knew me not to this extent i mean picking your own tires and stuff but like simple like little things that i could obviously just like do myself but like not like turning a wrench on a car like ever see there you go i think i think a lot of dudes look in the wrong places when they're trying to find a girl that will do things with them from my experience just what i've observed the best duos like couples that actually do stuff together the girl did not come from the car background they came from wherever and they just kind of start to do it start to get into it just because it's what the guy does and they have an inclination to learn things and be active and i don't know create stuff i'm not i'm not really sure but i don't think a lot of people think it's possible that like you would just jump in and do all of this stuff yeah did you think it was possible for you to do that i can do anything if i really want to do it it's just a matter of if they want to do it then they could jump in and do it if they don't want to do it they obviously won't do that right yeah well why do you want to do it because i love you and i like doing stuff with you it's fun there you go i feel like you have this something in your head that makes you want to figure stuff out like once you start messing with something you don't want me to do it like you want to figure it out i don't think you can put that into a person no you have to want to win and be independent do things on your own and like be a successful person on your own i guess i don't know you can't just piggyback off of everybody for everything and expect someone to do it for you like try it's all it takes i guess you spent a lot of time around other females that do not possess those character qualities if if there's a dude watching this and they're thinking oh i'm gonna like i'm gonna learn something here i'm gonna take this seriously what would you tell them not to do well don't look on instagram instagram is where you'll find all the amateur prostitutes yeah yeah if they post a lot of pictures of themselves ho yeah conceited issues of some sort people take pictures of what they is important to them if it's all themselves themselves are very important to themselves my instagram is all my cars cars are very important and you don't post pictures of anything ever pretty much so that was kind of like you had like six posts on instagram like that's strange girls who look like that typically don't only have six posts over the span of four years but yeah so if i got a lot of pictures on instagram of themselves red flag yeah don't don't take them seriously what else be another red flag hi snapchat score i don't know so that's like i feel like that's valid yeah for a female definitely if they're in like if it's like over a million for sure a million that's a thing yeah i've seen it before some people are over a million uh some people have had their snapchat for a really really long time and used it as a form of communication since like the eighth grade i wanna see how many snaps i've sent i don't even know you don't 134 478. yeah i think when we started talking your snap number was in like the 70s or something it was it was below 100. yeah most of those were from like my work group chat snapchat probably and we primarily communicated on snapchat for a long time yeah which is weird how that works it's like easier than texting sometimes yeah i don't know why but so that's one so non-digital stuff aside what are red flags like character qualities like you're actually around these people observing what they do how they act what's what signals a disaster of a female i'll give you one if they've ever bought anything from 1320 themselves they're a disaster someone gave it to them that's different still probably not good but if they're walking around wearing that stuff to be like part of the car scene they're in it for the cloud car girls are not not good 99 of the time there are very few exceptions i know a couple of them that are you know decent people good people but it came up as like a family thing and it was not forced upon them like uh but that's pretty much it literally like one maybe yeah just like this one i think uh joe and brian that 1320 chick she's like the only car world female that was with a car world dude who's normal that's it sad it is i could straight up say that every every other female that i know that does stuff with their partner did not come from car world before that so yeah stay away from tire biters they're in it for the clout um you can figure that out pretty easily it's like i make the comparison uh some of you real g's may have heard me say this before you don't buy someone else's project car on craigslist because it is full of problems that's like that's what car seen girls are they got all kinds of stuff done to themselves you don't know where all the wires go you'll never figure it out it's gonna break all the time it's gonna leave you stranded you don't know when you're gonna build a car you start with a stock car a good platform and then it grows from there you'll never just i don't know but people aren't like cars you could buy someone's molested project car and then strip it all down to the bare bones and build it up from there you can't do that with people once they're messed up they're pretty well messed up like you can't undo all that that nonsense just just don't do it i don't know taking care of yourself do they actually have a job like a legitimate job that they like make money at yeah no only fans that's a big one because i know of a lot of people that have like a normal job as like a front but they're giant hoe bags that they secretly do all kinds of messed up stuff a normal job is like a front yeah like this girl is like a bank teller but obviously she's not me you should be like nine dollars an hour maybe and she has all this money for all these things i'm like where do you have the money for this like obviously you can't afford that and daddy's not paying for her stuff it's different daddy how do you feel about the topic of daddy issues it's real it's real it's real how do you how do you pick out daddy issues from a crowd i don't know probably a lot of piercings and tattoos usually the purple hairs different colored hair is usually a big red flag it's not like a normal shade i mean i like pink and blue i've had pink and blue in my hair but that was like teenage years i thought it was cool i mean nothing wrong with that but usually it's a red flag yeah ask about their um family yeah do they have a good family relationship or um i don't know if they don't have a good family unit or aren't close with anyone in their family that's typically a red flag what yeah yeah my parents are divorced but hers are still married which is seems like rare these days because most people seem like they have divorced parents at least as my life progressed i knew people with divorced parents than married ones uh usually in that situation if they're divorced the girl has like probably like lives with their mom or something and if the dad's out of the picture they definitely got some kind of issues the bottom line is if you want to find a high quality individual you have to be a high quality individual yourself you have to put in the work when no one's watching take care of yourself do things you don't want to do to be the kind of person that you want to attract yeah you have to be if you you know are sitting there thinking you know covered in cheeto dust and you know didn't do anything all day making the same dent in your couch deeper how do you think you're gonna like find somebody who's like six leagues ahead of you that they're just gonna magically just oh yeah yeah the funniest part ever when it's like the fat guy with his bag of doritos and he like makes a comment about like the supermodel chick like not having an ass or something and it's just like who are you to say anything but yeah like you gotta put in the work if you want to get it back like i didn't you know when i was in high school uh i didn't really participate in that realm at all i didn't even try because i was like not a desirable person i wasn't a cool kid i was like freaking lanky pale hockey player kid didn't talk to anybody and that was that and i didn't like that so when i started college i decided to do something about it i was like i'm just gonna i'm go to the gym that's like my thing i'm gonna do that and i thought maybe if i make this a part of my life when i'm 30 years old i want to look like ivan drago because he's the same height as me that was like that was my thing i was not like i don't know at least to me i wasn't proud of the way i looked i looked like stickman i was like not not real cool with it uh now i look like a normal person yeah in 10th grade i was this height and i weighed 164 pounds and now i'm a fairly lean like 225 230 depends if i've pooped recently or not yeah that makes a difference it took took a long time but you have to put yourself on that level whether it be go to the gym or be committed to your job i think you can chime in on this i think being committed to anything to anything at all just focusing on i mean i mean everybody says just focus on yourself but like essentially that's really what it is just waking up every day working working out doing the best you can every single day and the right thing will present itself when the time is right in my opinion i just think that you just need to put in the work to get what you want you don't need to go look for it yeah no not really like but you have to know what you want first like when you go buy a car you fire up your phone you go on marketplace or auto trade or whatever you put in the kind of car that you want like you know that you want a specific kind of car if it's a corvette you type in your range of corvette like okay maybe you don't care what color it is you're gonna see what you like but you have a general idea of what it is you want you should build that person in your head before you ever even do anything like what do they look like what do they do what do they do with you like do they do the stuff you do you know how tall are they what color is their hair like think about all these things and put it together in your head and then whenever something blips on your radar that kind of fits that you're like oh that that looks like something that could fit this let's see how that goes that's kind of what happened to me it's very funny nothing you're gonna go more in depth no i'll leave it i'll leave that at that but yeah you gotta know you gotta know what it is you're looking for if you're gonna find what you're looking for if you go to the toolbox you say i need a socket okay well what socket you got you gotta you gotta know what you want before you can find it i think that being passionate about anything is a huge draw you can't filter yourself for people you can't bend in that in that phase because if you bend from who you really are and you modify what you really want to do during the phase of getting to know someone they're not getting to know you they're getting to know this form of yourself that you've filtered and crafted to suit them and that'll wear off on some point it'll wear off on you you won't do it anymore or they're going to wear off on them because you won't be able to you know keep that facade all the time and that was kind of something for me is like i'm perfectly fine being by myself for the next 10 years if i have to i'm going to do what i'm going to do and if somebody cannot like participate in that then that's fine because somebody will that was my thought and then she just kind of came out of nowhere and now lives the same ridiculous lifestyle that i do and keeps up with it and adds to it so there you go but i didn't filter myself when like we were getting to know each other i'm like this is who i am this is what i do this is this is it were there any surprises no have you done it all you knew exactly what you were getting into absolutely can you can you elaborate on that for for these people what like when you lived in the trailer yeah yeah when we first started talking he lived in his like race trailer and his toaster didn't make his waffles crispy enough and he took a paper plate and he made like a teepee out of it put it over his waffles and the toaster to like make it crispier he showed me all kinds of things and i didn't get scared off yeah the real all of it yeah that's how it was for almost a year like a little over a year ago when i was in oklahoma city i lived in the living quarters of my race trailer and it was like my floor was like cardboard because it got wet i had to rip it up that's a story for a different day it was cardboard and plastic the thing was maybe 80 square feet not designed to be lived in at all and it was honestly like pretty embarrassing like i didn't really tell people that but i didn't hold back when i was talking to her i'm like screw it like this is what i do and like here's why like she knew why i was doing it and the fact that she understood that didn't judge me for it was something that stuck to me that fit one more piece of that uh search criteria i guess because you know most females i'll say insert a different word uh would say i'm like oh this guy's a freaking loser no not a loser nope there's a reason for certain sacrifices and if someone doesn't understand that screw them if somebody doesn't want to see the world the way you see it through the lens of your passion and what gets you excited screw up get rid of them doesn't matter i don't care if it is your best friend that you've known since you were a little kid your sibling your uncle your cousin your mom your dad if they pull energy from you when you talk about what you care about one you could just not talk to them about it anymore two if that doesn't work get rid of them completely because this stuff is hard enough and you can't function around people who detract from what gets you excited to get out of bed every morning it's hard to do it feels weird but once you realize that you don't owe anybody anything as far as being obligated to like maintain relationships it is liberating because you don't you're just like you know what i don't care bye as simple as that your own happiness comes first and that should be something that's at the forefront of your thoughts whenever you're in the dating world too because it's super hard for car guys to find people that put up with the stuff they want to do not to mention if she's always wanting you to like pay for everything or buy her things that's no don't do it absolutely do not do it she's using you and you're just the pawn in her chess game that's something i noticed like i think the first time we hung out you paid for my drinks i don't think i spent any money that day yeah so there's that i took note of that too and you drove seven hours to freaking bfe louisiana and i drove three with the trailer to go get you but you still drove seven hours like that was after all that that was like months later yeah that was a long time later but i mean like the first time you ever came here oh yeah yeah i drove many hours so many times to come here for you what's even funnier about that is that i literally hate texas with a burning passion and i used to live here in south lake texas and i moved to florida and i swear to god like on my life like on everything i would never ever ever as long as i live live in texas again and here i am because of you funny how that works because i would absolutely not be here if it wasn't for you home is where the opportunity is i live by that and i feel like
