World’s FIRST DEWALT Battery Powered Log Splitter! You decide if it’s Tough Enough!

What happens here

Turn on the 9-ton log splitter using the on/off switch. Engage the control lever to cycle the ram through its full extension and retraction. Experiment with both the low and high-speed settings to observe the difference in ram movement and sound. Note the auto-return feature of the operating lever.

ran by the DeWalt batteries. Moving around here to the front of the machine, you have a leg right here, which can be set in two different ways, and you have a little handle right here in case you need to move it. And it's super easy to just pick up with one hand, one or two hands, and move it around. Very, very simple. I like it. Simplicity. Lots of peace in simplicity, isn't there? This is a 5-in wedge right here, and this is the log pusher. So, we'll push the log into that wedge and split it. Now, this is a little bit lower profile than the 20-ton. The 20-ton is more like your similar large log splitter. And this is basically a smaller version. So, as we go over here, this is the battery case and pump case. I assume there's a pump in here, also. And this is our log splitter valve. Very simple on-off switch. We'll open this guy up real quick. 60-V max brushless. Awesome. Open this up, we've got a selector switch right here, low speed and high speed. Both of our batteries slide right into the place. I'll pull one out for you real quick. And I'll put it back down in there. Couldn't be more simple. This did sit out in the rain yesterday, and looks just fine, functions just fine. So, I wouldn't hesitate to let it sit out in the rain overnight. I wouldn't think that it would hurt a thing in the world, but consult your owner's manual. Here we go. So, let's turn this puppy on,
