(1,759 characters)[Music] all right guys you can really see the difference in the aqua blue right here it just turns the water a darker deeper blue okay so this also helps if you have herons coming in and eating your fish so a lot of times we'll get what we call cranes or herrings and they'll come in and they'll eat up all the baby fish right here on the edge of the pond so this also reflects back at them so they can't see the darker the dye the more reflection you get and the more fish you'll save so if you have a koi pond or something like that then you might want to go with a little bit darker dye they make a dye all the way to a black color i wouldn't suggest putting that in there now you could put this dye in to help control algae and you can put this dye in to help control lily so we had lilies way in the back right here and that is a huge problem with a lot of farm ponds they get a layer of slime then they get a layer of lilies and what it is is just a poor ecosystem now we did instill grass carpet here i think we have about 50 grass carp they're sterile carp that don't reproduce but they eat grass in other words they'll help munch all the grass in here and again helping to build a wonderful ecosystem we do leave some grasses right here for habitat there's some cattails over here on the other side we like to leave quite a bit of good fish habitat in here so that we end up with a great pond with great habitat but you can see just how clear this water is i i can't say enough about the pond diet really has helped improve this ecosystem i'll try and work in a picture of this before we did anything to it and you guys will be amazed at what a green slime nasty mess this was and now what it's become [Music] so the cows are down here hanging out at
