Threat and Capitulation

What happens here

As Miguel, looking upset, again tries to say, 'Me need raise, me need more money,' the foreman threatens to call 'his buddy Trump.' This explicit political threat immediately changes Miguel's demeanor. He quickly says, 'Okay boss, me work, me worky, better for you, boss. For you, boss! Bye-bye boss!' Miguel gestures that he's leaving and quickly turns away, visibly intimidated and abandoning his request. The foreman, once again with a wide, satisfied grin, ends the video.

Goal: The foreman uses a political threat to make Miguel retract his request
