Tricks for Installing Composite Decking!
What happens here
Pre-assemble the stair treads using composite deck boards. For a strong and concealed connection, a Kreg Jig is used to create pocket holes on the underside of the tread components. These are then joined with 2P-10 adhesive for extra strength and pocket hole screws. This method creates a sturdy, seamless tread unit that can then be installed onto the stair stringers.
Goal: Construct durable and visually clean stair treads off-site.
