What happens here
This project involves repairing a damaged Service Entrance Cable (SEU) that has ripped off a house wall. Due to uneven and muddy terrain, a Baker scaffold is assembled and used, along with an additional step ladder, to provide stable access to re-strap the SEU cable securely to the house using a cordless drill, screws, and new cable straps.

So, all the straps had pulled off. Yeah. And uh we're going to restrap it. I see. But the ground is so unlevel and muddy that we had to use this Baker scaffold. What's going on, YouTube? Anytime my pops is working, guys, I get all the tools for him. All right. He's like the main huncho. About to see what a father son electrician service call looks like. Service call. Let's go. You think it's better to have a ladder? Yeah, probably. Nice. Got tomatoes on. Good. Yeah. content. What are you thinking? Just thinking about the ladder, but this wheel off. Yeah. There you go. Will it fit? Did we get lucky? Ha. Uhhuh. So now these pins go in here. Okay. Get me the other side. Okay. So this pin, see, locks in. This goes That's the one I had to hit on. Nice. Okay. Right. You know, it's it's important that one guy kind of puts these together. Yeah. Because that way, you know, it's all together, right? Yeah. Cuz I've done it where some guys just forget. Well, one of the pieces isn't it. Yeah. All right. Now, I need to measure how high I need to stand cuz I'm pretty high up. Yeah. So, I really only need I need to get to that. So, I would say 4footer. You're not putting the ladder against the house. No, because if I put the ladder against the househ, it could push my scaffold away. Even though I have these outriggers in. Yeah. I mean, chances it won't do it, but there's no sense in doing that. Okay. All right. Let me get my that one. Yep. And got a strap in my pocket. We need more straps. All right. I got you. there. Scaffold, man. [Applause] [Music] Scaffold. Okay. Get me um the drill. Hand me the drill there. These guys, right? Yep. Put it on the ground. You want to make a three pilot hole. So, I don't tighten it all the way yet. Got it. There you go. Down. Your foot's right there. Keeping your weight straight down on a scaffold. What's important distribution? Yep. A few moments later. You guys need the power off again? No. Okay. No. No. Cool. Thank you. X. Just thinking how I can get up a little bit higher maybe with the ladder. Do you want the 4-footer? Um, have a hard time. I might have to go up a little higher on this 4footer up there. Let me get the 4footer. Okay. Yeah. Just one more strap. It looks like it's Yeah. Thank God for the scaffold. Huh? Thank God for the scaffold. Nice baker scaffold. Yeah, there you go. Perfect. I think it's all we need. Yes, sir. All righty. All finished. Take a look at this. We got it strapped. See, we got our SCU straps. Before it was ripped off, guys. This was ripped off completely, but we restrapped it all the way to the top. And it was a challenge, guys, cuz right here it was very uneven. The we were basically on a hill, so we had to get a scaffold. We couldn't use a normal ladder, but guys, all finished. Let's get it. Customer satisfied. And yeah, that's how we do it. All right, guys. That wraps up the video. Hope you guys enjoyed that one. You know, the customer needed that done. We came, we delivered, and the customer is satisfied. So, Dad, now the job is done. What was your opinion on that that job? Well, which one did it with the Baker scaffold? Yeah. I mean, it's the only other way to do it because you needed a platform. Mhm. Couldn't use a ladder. Okay. You needed a really long either bucket truck or some sort of articulated lift, which was not practical. Yeah. So, uh that Baker scaffold is light. Uhhuh. Lightweight. Can be installed actually with one guy can put it together. Yeah. Uh highly recommend having three sections of it. Mhm. That way you can instead of making them all because they're six feet tall, right? Yeah. Yeah. Vary those platforms. Mhm. So it's easier to put multiple platforms on one or two so it's easy for you to put materials and then with the wheels you can like wheel it around. If we were using that say in a warehouse or somewhere. Yeah. You could, you know, someone could push you on that while you're up in the air. So I really do like that Baker scaffold. Yeah. We got the job done. Customer satisfied. Electrician family. Customers are always satisfied. You're right. That's true. That's right, guys. They're always satisfied. They might not be happy with the price. That's true. But it's not the quality. You get what you pay for. You do. Yep. Okay, pal. All right. [Music]
